Core Kit TAC 6E, Olive Drab, Small Short — The TAC 6E Core Kit includes the Shoulder Protector, Cummerbund/Suspenders, Ballistic Shorts, and Thigh and Lower Leg Protectors from the modular TAC 6E blast protection system. TAC 6E protects against blast overpressure, fragmentation, impact, and heat/flame in non-permissive environments where a full-scale bomb suit isn't practical or possible. It integrates with Tactical and Combat helmets and the Med-Eng TAC and ARC Visor Systems, and its lightweight, modular design lets operators add or remove protective components and move — run, walk, climb, bend, lift, and reach — more freely. Manufactured at Med-Eng's Pembroke, Ontario facility and CE marked.
