Blast Blanket, 1500 x 1500 mm

The Bomb Blast Suppression Blanket is used to suppress and contain the blast and fragmentation from explosive threats such as an Improvised Explosive Device (IED).

• Lightweight and easily portable; works with a ballistic containment ring to mitigate IEDs with relatively smaller charges
• A first-response option for mitigating threats in public places such as airports and public transit stations until a Bomb Disposal or EOD team arrives
• Includes lifting straps and a Ballistic Collar; the Collar is placed on its edge around the suspicious item, then the Blanket is placed over the Collar and item, directing blast force upward into the Blanket
• Two or more Collars and Blankets can be combined to suppress a larger item
• Multiple-layer ballistic filler material enclosed in heavy-duty nylon; both Blanket and Collar fold into a carry bag; standard color black
