The rifle the started it all, the Daniel Defense DDM4V1 Rifle is built on a carbine length direct impingement gas system with an A2 style gas block front sight. The 16" barrel is cold hammer forged from chrome moly vanadium steel and chambered for 5.56 NATO with a 1:7" twist. The handguard is a 12" Daniel Defense made quad-rail that extends past the front sight for mounting a tactical laser and/or flashlight. The rifle comes with soft touch grippy rail guards and a vertical grip with storage compartment. The pistol grip of DDM4V1 rifle is a proprietary Daniel Defense design with soft touch over molding and the 6-position buttstock features the same soft touch over molding at contact areas.
