The DDM4V7 Upper Receiver Group by Daniel Defense is constructed around a 16-inch, cold hammer forged barrel and comes equipped with the extra features and quality expected from Daniel Defense products. The interior of the barrel is chrome lined for a superior service life, and is topped with a Daniel Defense improved flash suppressor to greatly mitigate visible muzzle flash. The gas system is composed of a mid-length, direct impingement system with a pinned low profile gas block CNC machined from 4140 hardened steel. This upper receiver group also features a 15-inch Daniel Defense MFR handguard, which is remarkably lightweight, ergonomic and offers excellent cooling. The handguard is outfitted with a full length picatinny rail in the 12 o’clock position with plenty of space to install iron sights and optics, as well as M-LOK attachment points for the installation of tactical lights, lasers and other accessories. In addition, this upper receiver group comes standard with a Daniel Defense glass-filled vertical grip, and an ambidextrous Grip-N-Rip charging handle.
